Sonia Kashuk Makeup Brushes

I was in Target the other day doing some more Holiday shopping and, of course, I ended up in the makeup section shopping for myself. I've heard about Sonia Kashuk makeup brushes, but never tried them myself, so I decided to by three brushes- a flat eyeshadow brush, a lip brush, and an angled liner brush. I am so pleased with these brushes. They are high quality, low cost brushes, that get the job done. They pick up a lot of color and are shaped in a way that allow for very precise application. There isn't a very large variety of brushes to choose from, but the ones that I have tried are great. So, if you want professional makeup brushes, but don't want an empty wallet, go to Target and get these brushes!
Peace out my pretty people <3 blog =")

Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm

Mmmmmm. This is by far the BEST lip balm I have ever used in my entire life. Since the cold weather has hit New York, my lips have been cracking and drying up, making my lip gloss look all funky. All the lip balms I have tried have just seemed to make it worse! That is until I found Rosebud Strawberry Lip Balm by mistake, and now I'm hooked. Of course I found it while purchasing a gift for someone else. I just always have to buy myself something too! I was in Sephora buying my bestie and co-makeup lover and gift, when I saw the lip balm sitting by the counter. It was $7 and it looks like it is going to last me quite a while. My lips are totally repaired and feel silky smooth. I put this on before I do my makeup, and blot some of it off before applying lip color. Thumbs up for this stuff, I will definitely be buying this again! Peace out my pretty people! Have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving <3

Victorias Secret Beauty Rush Single Eyeshadow

The other day after some holiday shopping, I decided to spend some money in Victorias Secret. I had a great coupon, so I didn't feel that guilty splurging a little bit on myself. Towards the end of my purchase, I realized that I was a few dollars short of the spending minimum that I needed in order to use my coupon. Being the product-whore that I am, I decided I would spend those extra few bucks on an eyeshadow. I've been wanting a new purple shadow that is relatively inexpensive, so I picked out a vibrant, shimmery shade of deep purple Beauty Rush eyeshadow and went along my merry way. I was so excited to use it, that I tried it right away went I got home... Boy, was I dissapointed! At first, I got really excited because my brushes were able to pick up a lot of color, which usually doesn't happen with low-cost eyeshadows. However, once I glided the eyeshadow on, the vibrant purple I picked out earlier became a dark gray, matte-looking shade. It didn't look terrible, so I wore the eyeshadow out of the house... An hour later, I looked like I should've been doing a walk of shame or something! After just one hour, my eyeshadow was faded and looked as though I'd been wearing it all day. Not something I'll be buying or using again!
